There is plenty of trivia surrounding the meeting tonight between Barça and Valencia in the cup semi final second leg. Here is a selection:
- Barça have knocked out Valencia in 9 out of 15 cup meetings, although Valencia have gone through the last two times

- They have played five times in the semi finals, Barça have gone through three times and Valencia twice
- In Barcelona and Valencia's five semi final meetings, the winners have always gone on to take the cup title
- Of the times Barça have drawn 1-1 in the away first leg of a semi final, they have eventually qualified five times out of seven. This situation has never arisen in a cup tie where Valencia has been the opposition
- FC Barcelona have scored three goals against Valencia so far this season. Pedro and Cesc scored in the league and Puyol in the cup
- This season the teams have drawn both times they have met, 2-2 in the league and 1-1 in the cup

- Unai Emery has come to the Camp Nou four times, once as manager of Almeria and three times with Valencia, and has always lost
- In these four games against Emery, FC Barcelona have scored eleven goals and only conceded one
- The last time Valencia came to the Camp Nou was early last season, when FC Barcelona won 2-1 thanks to goals from Iniesta and Puyol, and that was after going 1-0 down early on
